It’s a pretty well-known fact that mid-August is Prime Time for companies seeking to attract new talent. Job seekers are also aware of this phenomenon, and one leading online employment website is now using AM and FM radio spots to bring in more traffic.
Who else is using radio? A certain insurance brand presently known for the “running of the bulldogs” is back on top.
In last week’s Media Monitors Radio Spot Ten report, GEICO moved up a notch to first place, with 42,198 spots.
But, it is the climb into the Spot Ten for Indeed, with 21,477 spots, that’s noteworthy.
Meanwhile, it’s Back to School shopping season, and JCPenney is no longer alone in its use of radio to ring up register receipts. That’s because Macy’s kicked in some additional spot dollars, and is now No. 9 among all brands using radio for the week ending Aug. 13, 2017.
