James Carville, notable political consultant and New Orleans resident, will be the opening keynote speaker for Media Finance Focus 2019, the 59th annual conference for the Media Financial Management Association (MFM) and its BCCA subsidiary, the media industry’s credit association.
The conference, themed “Big Ideas in the Big Easy,” is a must-attend for all media and entertainment finance professionals. It will be held May 20-22 at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, New Orleans, LA.
Carville has guided the winning political campaigns of local, state and national candidates since 1986 when he began an unprecedented winning streak that included the winning presidential campaign of William Jefferson Clinton in 1992. His prolific career, along with that of George Stephanopoulos, was the focus of the feature length Academy Award nominated documentary “War Room.” In addition to political consulting, Carville is an author and a regular contributor on television and radio.

Manship Media CFO Ralph Bender will Chair Media Finance Focus, the 59th Annual conference. Taking on co-chair responsibilities for the conference will be Melissa Mitchell, corporate controller at Bonneville International.
