JD Freeman sets retirement

JD FreemanCCME San Francisco announced longtime Market President, JD Freeman, will retire on 5/21. Freeman has been in the broadcasting industry for more than 43 years and with Clear Channel Media and Entertainment for the past 18 years.  During his time with Clear Channel he has held leadership roles in the Phoenix, Dallas and Santa Barbara markets and served as Senior Vice President of Operations for the Southwest Region.


“JD has been an integral part our company and his leadership, commitment and dedication are greatly appreciated,” said Hartley Adkins, Executive Vice President of Operations, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment.  “I have personally enjoyed my time partnering with JD as he has been invaluable to Clear Channel’s success over the years in San Francisco and throughout the company.”

“I’ve been fortunate in my career to have worked with the most talented broadcasters in the business while working at Clear Channel,” said Freeman. “Working beside everyone in San Francisco has been a terrific adventure and together we’ve achieved some great success.”

CCME will begin an active search for a new Market President.
