Wall Street cheered as new jobless benefits claims declined. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 62 points, or 0.5%, to 12,170. Most broadcast stocks were up.
The RBR Radio Index was up 5.201, or 1.8%, to 294.897.
The TVBR Television Index was up 3.499, or 1.5%, to 240.922.
