A drop in the US unemployment rate to a two-year low of 8.8% for March was good news on Wall Street Friday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 57 points, or 0.5%, to 12,377. Broadcasting stocks rose again.
The RBR Radio Index was up 2.621, or 0.7%, to 403.610.
The TVBR Television Index was up 3.771, or 1.3%, to 288.578 – a 6th straight all-time high.
