Retail stocks rose after the US Senate cleared a hurdle to extend unemployment payments to millions of Americans. And, when retailers do well broadcasters do well, so radio and TV stocks were up. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 76 points, or 0.7%, to 10,230.
The RBR Radio Index was up 1.466, or 0.6%, to 260.381.
The TVBR Television Index was up 4.724, or 2.7%, to 179.856.
