Joe Namath Show debuting as podcast

The Joe Namath Show, a brand new podcast featuring the insights and opinions of the legendary NFL Hall of Fame quarterback & sports icon will debut Monday, 8/26. The podcast will be available for download at, and iTunes. Namath became an American icon in the 1960’s with the New York Jets after an impressive college career under Alabama’s Paul “Bear” Bryant.  Upon his arrival in New York, Namath was immediately dubbed “Broadway Joe”. His “guarantee” that the Jets would win Super Bowl III changed the landscape of the NFL forever. Namath’s AFL Jets shocked the world on January 12, 1969 by defeating the NFL’s Baltimore Colts 16-7. In 1967 Namath became the first NFL quarterback to throw for 4,000 yards in a season. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in1985.
