‘Jonas Brothers’ and ‘Demi Lovato’ kick off ABC’s Summer Concert series

On “Good Morning America” the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato together Kick Off Summer Concert Series on May 21. Diverse Mix of Grammy Award-Winning Artists Will Perform Live Every Friday Morning From the Rumsey Playfield in New York City’s Central Park.


“Good Morning America” today announced its sizzling 2010 Summer Concert Series lineup with the hottest chart-topping acts in the country, including mega-watt stars Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas and Alicia Keys; pop sensations the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus; country superstars Sugarland and Lady Antebellum; and the best nostalgia as The GO-GO’s perform for the final time on television. The 2010 Summer Concert Series returns for the second straight year to the Rumsey Playfield in Central Park, where music’s biggest names will perform live every Friday. The Summer Concert Series is sponsored by Walgreen’s (first seven concerts) and John Frieda® Frizz-Ease® Hair Care (final eight concerts).

“GMA’s Summer Concert Series” kicks off on May 21 with the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato performing songs from the highly anticipated “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.”

Viewers interested in joining “GMA” in Central Park are encouraged to arrive at Rumsey Playfield via the 69th street entrance on Fifth Avenue at 6:00am when the park opens to the public. For more information on how to attend a summer concert in Central Park, click on the “GMA” web site

All concerts are free and open to the public and will take place live during “Good Morning America,” Fridays from 7:00 – 9:00 a.m. ET. Additional dates and acts will be announced throughout the summer. Concerts scheduled-to-date include the following:
