Journal Broadcast Group Omaha Operations is using the power of its combined media voices to support the upcoming Susan G. Komen Nebraska Race for the Cure. KMTV Action 3 News and Star 104.5 (KSRZ-FM) are now media sponsors and will promote the race with a mixture of live promotional mentions, public service announcements, website exposure, on air interviews, news stories and more. The race will be held on Sunday, October 3 in Omaha.

All of Journal Broadcast Group’s Omaha radio stations will support and promote the race, as well. “Our company’s larger footprint of radio and TV is an added benefit to help organizations that want to reach a large and diverse segment of the local market,” said KMTV Marketing Director Willie Garrett. “We’re excited
to do our part to help celebrate breast cancer survivorship, memorialize those who lost their battles with the disease and help end breast cancer forever.”

In addition to CBS affiliate KMTV-TV and Star 104.5, Journal Broadcast Group’s cluster of stations in the Omaha market includes Z-92 (KEZO-FM), Channel 94.1 (KQCH-FM), CD105.9 (KKCD-FM) and Big Sports 590 (KXSP-AM).
