JSAs Caught in Shut-Down Talks

U.S. CongressCongressional lawmakers are close to leaving town for the holidays and have yet to pass a spending bill to avert a federal shutdown.


However, Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said Tuesday the House will pass a short-term measure to tide over the government beyond the Friday deadline. That’s when the current spending bill expires.
