When a show is tied for first in Arbitron ratings among all Spanish stations in the market for Adults 25-54 (just released Dec. numbers), you add more time—and inventory. So PRISA/Grupo Latino de Radio’s WSUA-AM Miami – Radio Caracol has done just that, extending its morning show “Julio Sanchez Cristo.” Beginning 1/3, Sanchez Cristo adds one hour Monday to Friday from 5-11 in the morning. The show previously ended at 10AM.
Grupo Latino de Radio Director of Marketing and Communications Luigi Bellizzi tells RBR-TVBR the show will add 10 more minutes an hour of local inventory with the extension.
The call-in program features the latest local, national and international news, including immigration, health, family, education, taxes, sports or entertainment, weather and up-to-the-minute traffic, and interviews.
Sanchez Cristo is accompanied by South Florida journalists Sabina Covo, Luis Betancourt, John Morales, Horacio Gioffre, Roly Martin and Ernesto Rios, among others – and the show’s network of correspondents in the world.
