My Town Media Inc., made up of an AM and two FMs in an unrated portion of Kansas, will be upgrading to superduopoly status with the acquisition of KINZ-FM Humboldt KS. The seller is Sutcliffe Communications. My Town is headed by William B. Wachter and backed by David L. Murfin. It’ll pay $330K for KINZ, which it has been operating in an LMA since the beginning of November. My Town’s other stations include KKOY AM-FM Chanute KS and KSNP-FM Burlington KS.
