On 1/29, someone broke in to Disney’s KDIS-FM Little Rock, AR, currently silent, and stole an Orban audio processor, a BE RDS generator and a Day Sequerra modulation monitor from the broadcast tower in North Little Rock. The suspect entered the tower shed and also stole other miscellaneous items. The suspect then returned to target the broadcast gear. The local police are asking for any information regarding the theft and for people to keep an eye if any of this goes up for sale on eBay, Craigslist, etc.
On 7/31/13, KDIS-FM dropped the Radio Disney affiliation and went silent; in October, Disney filed to sell KDIS-FM, as well as KRDY in San Antonio, to Salem Communications.
