Here is a question that has plagued the minds of hundreds of radio station owners over the past few years: Do we find a buyer, or do we simply turn off the transmitter?

Until the June 26 Form 314 filing of an asset purchase agreement that gave control of an AM-FM combo in Keokuk, Iowa to a newly formed entity spearheaded by the stations’ office manager, the operator was ready to turn off the lights — and silence the stations.
