Mr. Benner Goes To Washington, And Survives


From May 7-11, featured Media Information Bureau columnist and veteran independent Alternative FCC Compliance Certification Inspector Ken Benner and his son, Kevin, took a trip to Washington, D.C. They met with several members of Congress, primarily to lobby for retention of an agency the current administration may wish to do away with.

It’s important — one Think Tank Wonk who has an ear with another agency, the FCC, has already asked why the Commission should exist.

Here is Benner’s recount of his trip to Capitol Hill, and his “enlightening” experience in D.C. Needless to say, it was a bit rocky.
