“Overnight America with Jon Grayson” will be added to Clark Radio’s KFWB-AM LA News Talk 980’s weekday lineup beginning 2/26 from 10:00pm – 3:00am. In making the announcement, Director of Programming Andy Ludlum also noted two more additions to the Monday-Friday lineup: Jim Bohannon’s “Americain the Morning” will air 3:00-4:00am and “First Light” from 4:00-5:00am.

“OvernightAmerica,” an upbeat call-in show on timely issues will give listeners an opportunity to be part of the engaging conversation. Celebrity guests are also featured. Grayson has hosted the popular program for the past five years and the show is rapidly finding new audiences in cities across the country.

“It’s great to give our listeners something that’s been missing from late night and early morning radio, a live mix of developing news and informative talk,” Ludlum commented.  “It’s also a perfect lead-in to LA’s Morning News with Penny Griego and Phil Hulett. These new programs enhance our topical content and provide updated local news and traffic throughout the day’s early hours.”

“Americain the Morning” is a fast-paced look at the world.  A team of correspondents provides up-to-the-minute news updates throughout the early morning in a news magazine format.

“First Light” with Dirk Van rounds out the weekday wake-up with a blend of breaking news and celebrity interviews with sports and entertainment figures.
