The Seattle Storm announced a partnership with Belo’s KING Broadcasting for the 2013 season. The deal ensures that every Storm game will be available either on TV, on radio or streaming online. The Storm play two nationally televised games on ESPN 2 and three games that will be aired on NBA TV. In addition to the games on ESPN 2 and NBA TV, all Storm home games will be broadcast on either KONG-TV or Live Well Seattle, says the Everett Herald.
“We are excited to announce that for the 2013 WNBA season, we are able to provide our fans with a consistent location to view Storm games on local television,” Storm president and CEO Karen Bryant said. “We believe Live Well Seattle’s mission aligns with that of the entire Seattle Storm organization, including our loyal fans. With the ability to have all home games on television, we are confident our passionate fan base will continue to grow as a wider viewing audience experiences what Storm basketball is all about.”
Live Well Seattle will broadcast 13 games and KONG-TV will broadcast three home games as well as one road game.
All Storm games will also be available on the radio locally on CBS Radio’s KFNQ-AM.
