CBS Radio’s KMOX-AM St. Louis is launching a new evening sports talker, “The Sports Hub.” It features St. Louis’ top sports talk talent and will air 9 p.m. – Midnight starting Monday 1/31. St. Louis radio personalities Mike Claiborne and Scott Warmann will join the KMOX team as co-hosts of the “Sports Hub” and will also host pre and post-game shows and contribute to KMOX.com. Chris Kerber, the radio voice of the Blues and Dan McLaughlin, television voice of the Cardinals, will share hosting duties.

KMOX PD Steve Moore noted that with the addition of the St. Louis Cardinals play by play to their St. Louis Blues and Mizzou coverage, it was natural for the station to become more sports focused at night.  Kerber has served as the Blues radio play-by-play announcer since 2000.  He has been working pre-game and post-game shows on KMOX since the Blues’ return to the station in 2007.

McLaughlin enters his 11th year as the play-by-play voice for Cardinals television broadcasts. McLaughlin also broadcasts college football and basketball games for ESPN, the University of Missouri men’s basketball team and the Missouri Valley Conference. Claiborne, a 30 year market vet, including 10 years at KMOX, has done pre and post-game shows for the Blues, Rams and Cardinals over the years. He will continue his work as a member of the Cardinals Radio Network team and serve as co-host of “The Hot Stove League Show”.

Warmann, entering his 17th year St. Louis market, is in his seventh season doing play-by-play for the Missouri Valley TV Network.  He also spent five seasons as a member of the St. Louis Rams broadcast team.
