Victor Michael is selling the construction permit for an FM in an unrated portion of western Kansas – and the buyer had best be ready to hit the ground running. The CP, which is listed as a modification of the original allocation, expires 9/15/12.
The buyer is JRM Productions LLC, headed by Mario A. Montoya, who has no other broadcast interests.
The CP as modified is for a Class C3 on 92.5 MHz with 6.2 kW @ 194’. The station will be licensed to Lakin KS, located to the west of the larger but equally unrated community of Garden City KS.
The price is $35K cash.
Michael, who operates on both sides of the commercial/non-commercial divide, is frequently seen on both the seller’s and buyer’s side of the station trading table.
