The Sound – KSWD-FM/Los Angeles –announced the launch of The Sound wiki on www.TheSoundLA.com. The Sound wiki’s primary focus is to collaborate and discuss the artists played on 100.3 The Sound. However, it is also a forum on the local venues throughout LA where the artists perform (e.g., best parking space at Staples Center), and as it evolves, other themes that will build around the culture of the station, Los Angeles and the respect for the music.
The Sound Director of Marketing/Advertising, Sammy Simpson commented, “The Sound wiki is another way for our listeners to stay informed and offer opportunities to get involved in making things better in the community.” He continued, “Our Bonneville New Media team did an excellent job of bringing this idea to life and providing another rich experience around the musical discovery that is The Sound.”
All of the content is a work in progress and true of any wiki, the site is designed to enable anyone who accesses it to contribute or modify with valuable contributions.
