University of Missouri’s exclusive multimedia and marketing partner Mizzou Sports Properties, says CH Radio Holdings/St. Louis Cardinals’ KTRS-AM St. Louis “The Big 550 AM” will be the new radio partner for Missouri football and Men’s basketball broadcasts beginning this fall. Previously, Mizzou’s primary radio outlet in the market had been CBS Radio’s KMOX-AM.
KTRS will also carry all “Tiger Talk” coaches’ shows, and “Tiger Update” daily reports as part of a multi-year agreement with the Tiger Network. Mizzou Sports Properties, the locally based entity of collegiate multimedia rights leader Learfield Sports, manages all aspects of the broadcasts, as well as the Tiger Network.
“KTRS The Big 550 is proud to once again partner with the University of Missouri as the radio station in St. Louis for Mizzou football and basketball,” said Tim Dorsey, KTRS GM. “University of Missouri is one of the premier programs in college sports, and Mizzou fans will now have a consistent radio home at 550 AM for the Tiger Network.”
