The deadline for getting your fee account straight with the FCC was, uh, yesterday. RBR-TVBR has been calling attention to this deadline from time to time, but if this bit of information is causing you to say “Oops!” there is good news – but not a ton of good news. The news is that you still until 11:59 PM today, 9/16/11, to get your money in.
The FCC says, “Effective immediately, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will extend the FY 2011 regulatory fee deadline to 11:59 PM, ET, September 16, 2011. If fees are paid by check, the check and all supporting documentation must be RECEIVED by the U.S. Bank in St. Louis, Missouri by 11:59 PM, ET, on September 16, 2011.”
It also has a help line if you are unsure how to proceed. “For additional information, please contact the CORES Helpdesk at 1-877-480-3201 (Option 4).”
