The seventh-season premiere of the singing competition series delivered 33.4 million viewers; that’s nearly 11% below its performance for the sixth season premiere. ABC will be unearthing two reality series, The Mole and The Bachelorette, neither of which have been on ABC’s schedule for several years. The Bachelorette will likely air in March while The Mole will probably surface during the summer.

CBS has ordered three new non-scripted programs. Game Show in My Head (Ashton Kutcher’s, Katalyst Films) is adapted from a British format. Game Show is a hidden camera series in which contestants go about their lives while wearing an earpiece which feeds them wacky instructions. The more potentially embarrassing public tasks they perform, the more money they make.

Secret Talents of the Stars (Magic Molehill Productions) is a bi-weekly celebrity talent show in which both “C and D-listers” compete in a tournament to prove to the world that they have hidden talents. Viewers get to vote and the least talented are sent packing.

In America’s Top Dog (R.J.Cutler), pooches and their owners/trainers will live together in a house and compete in a series of challenges that put their relationships to the test until the winning duo is named. Note that debut dates have yet to be set for any of these aforementioned shows.
