Until now, a Class C3 FM serving Lawton, Okla., has been held by The Estate of William Richard Fritsch, administrated by Janice Fritsch.
Pending regulatory approval, Chad Fox will soon be the owner of this station, branded as “The Breeze.”
Fox’s Local Radio LLC is agreeing to purchase KBZQ-FM 99.5 from the estate.
A $265,000 purchase price has been struck between the two parties, with a $25,000 deposit made to the seller. The remaining funds will be presented in cash at closing.
Serving as the broker in this transaction is Brooklyn, N.Y.-based John W. Saunders, the broker fee for which the estate shall be solely responsible to pay at closing.
Fox, the sole member of Local Radio LLC, also is the 50% member of Fuchs Radio LLC. It is the licensee of the following full-power broadcast stations:
- KHIM-FM in Mangum, Oklahoma (Facility No. 85874)
- KHWL-FM in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma (Facility No. 189529)
- KJCM-FM in Snyder, Oklahoma (Facility No. 76352)
