Orban Labs, Circuit Research Labs and Orban Europe GmbH have settled long-standing legal issues relating to DaySequerra’s July 2016 purchase of Orban.

Ownership of Orban Europe and all other worldwide assets on May 12 were transferred to Orban Labs.

This sees an Orban Labs restructuring designed to streamline sales order processing and inventory management, with their business operations combined into one entity.

“We are streamlining our sales order processing and inventory management by combining our businesses worldwide into one operation,” said Orban President David Day. “We are making these changes to better serve Orban’s loyal customers and dealers.”

Production will continue in Germany with its ISO-9001 compliant suppliers.

The settlement and subsequent restructuring puts Peter Lee in the role of SVP of Global Sales. Roger Sales continues as Managing Director of Orban Europe GmbH.

All Orban processors continue to be designed and engineered by Bob Orban and his design team.

Meanwhile, Chandler, Ariz.-based CRLI, operated by Jay Brentlinger, has been appointed as a U.S. dealer for Orban’s radio products.

CRLI will provide parts, service and support for older, legacy Orban products from the OPTIMOD 8400 and earlier.
