WASHINGTON, D.C. — One of the nation’s prominent law firms with a telecommunications, media and technology (TMT) practice has bolstered its attorney roster by promoting an attorney to Member status and welcoming a four-decade legal veteran as Counsel.

As of June 1, David Burns is now a Lerman Senter PLLC firm member.

Burns’ career has seen him focus on regulatory and transactional matters facing companies in the broadcast, cable, and satellite industries. He regularly counsels clients on compliance with regulatory requirements affecting station sales, programming content, political advertising, ownership attribution, station licensing and operations, and spectrum management.

“David has been a superb addition to the firm, and we are thrilled that he is now a Member,” said Sally A. Buckman, Lerman Senter’s Managing Member.

Now of counsel at Lerman Senter is Art Harding.

He’s represented clients in the broadcasting, cable television, and telecommunications sectors for over 40 years, with a particular concentration on matters affecting the cable television industry, such as must carry/retransmission consent, rate regulation, and network affiliation agreements. He has represented clients before the FCC and the Copyright Office on an exceptionally wide range of issues.

“We are very excited that Art has decided to join Lerman Senter,” Buckman said. “His extensive experience representing a variety of communications companies will benefit our firm and our clients.”
