Rush Limbaugh has re-signed with iHeartMedia’s Premiere Networks. The terms were not announced, however the company characterizes the deal as a long-term, multi-platform agreement.
The company says The Rush Limbaugh Show is Premiere’s top talk program and Limbaugh is the most-listened-to national radio talk show host in the U.S.
The broadcaster says his program shows continuous growth and strong revenue performance. In fact, ad revenue increased by 20% over last year, according to iHeartMedia.
After 28 years, Limbaugh said he “seriously considered moving on to something else,” but iHeartMedia President/COO/CFO Rich Bressler and Chairman/CEO Bob Pittman “were very persuasive.”
The show airs noon to 3pm Eastern weekdays.
