Charter Communications announced several weeks ago that it had come to terms with LIN TV on retransmission consent and would not have to pull LIN’s signals when their old contract expired June 30th. However, LIN had held off on any announcement until the deal was finally signed – yesterday. The two companies issued a joint announcement of the retrans agreement covering both analog an digital signals.
LIN TV has 13 owned and/or operated local stations are carried by Charter in the Grand Rapids; Green Bay; Hartford-New Haven; Norfolk; Springfield (Mass); Dayton; Providence and Toledo markets.
