LIN MediaTelevision group LIN Media will have a pair of college students on its intern staff this summer, working in Ft. Wayne IN and Grand Rapids MI, and the two students will earn scholarships to assist in the completion of their studies.

The winners of the LIN offerings are Cozetta Smith of Columbia College Chicago and Gloria So of North Carolina’s Elon University.

“While the media industry continues to evolve at a rapid pace, our scholarship and internship program furthers our commitment to attracting future leaders and promoting diversity in the workplace,” said Vincent L. Sadusky, president and chief executive officer of LIN Media. “Our recipients have high aspirations and we are pleased to provide them with an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience.”

Smith will spend her summer with CBS WANE-TV in Ft. Wayne, while So will be aboard at NBC WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids. Both will also receive $10K in scholarship funding which can be applied to tuition, fees, books, and room and board.

RBR-TVBR observation: Congratulations students, and congratulations LIN. This is excellent material to store prominently in the public file.
