WWHO is the CW Network affiliate serving the Columbus OH market, and it’s the only LIN Television Corporation station in the Ohio capital. But not for long – the group has a deal in place to sell the station.
The buyer is Manhan Media Inc., headed by Stephen P. Mumblow.
The price is $7M cash.
The station was formerly on Channel 53 back in the old analog days, and that remains its virtual channel designation. In the real spectrum world, it can be found on Channel 46. It’s licensed to Chillicothe OH.
LIN’s television group is headed by Vincent L. Sadusky.
