Broadcasters have been exploring innovative local market agreements for some time. Newspapers in the same market often combine forces as well. Now comes an agreement between the Washington Post and Baltimore Sun. Both serve territory in Maryland along the parallel I-95/Baltimore-Washington Parkway corridor, and they will now share resources in stories pertaining to that area that both cover. The arrangement will impact sports coverage in particular.
