Nobody should have gone anywhere near Wall Street without proper headgear, what with all the falling stocks everywhere. Sirius XM at least had some reason to celebrate – it managed to finish the day where it started, but since the level is on the low side of the pocket change end of pricing spectrum the achievement needs to be taken with a grain of salt. Among radio companies, Cox Radio was the big winner with a six cent gain. Cabler Time Warner somehow managed to earn 10 cents. Broadcast television groups Nexstar and Scripps were among the day’s winners, a feat they achieved by ending the day right where they started it.
