Lou Dorfsman dead at 90

CBS reports that Lou Dorfsman, the veteran design director who helped mold the network’s image for more than 40 years, died October 22nd at age 90. "Lou was a giant in his field, and an integral piece of CBS’s history, legacy and success," said CBS Corporation CEO Les Moonves. Dorfsman joined CBS in 1946 as a staff designer in the art department. He retired in 1987 as VP, Corporate Advertising and Design and later became Creative Director of the Museum of Broadcasting.
