Louisville Davidson AMs Anchor with Davidson

One way to look at the sale of WLOU-AM and WLLV-AM is that they are going from Davidson Media to Peter Davidson. The applications, however, list the stations as being licensed to subsidiaries of SS Broadcasting Holdings, and the buyer as Anchor Radio LLC.

Both stations delve into Gospel formats, according to a BIA market report accompanying the application filed with the FCC. WLOU does so from 1350 kHz, and WLLV from just south of there are 1240 kHz.

The duo is being sold for $800K cash.

SS is headed by Felix Perez; Anchor is controlled by Peter Davidsonm with a minority stake in the hands of Russ Jones.

A TBA has been in place since 8/29/08, meaning that while the change will have significance for the FCC, it should not be all that noticeable to local citizens.
