The case for the low power television and TV translator communities will be made at the April NAB convention in Las Vegas. Hosting an event called LPTV Day will be the Advanced Television Broadcast Alliance.
The event is scheduled for 4/13/15.
ATBA will be events of interest to LPTV and translator operators, including seminars and workshops, and will also be handing out awards at an LPTV reception held at the Westgate Las Vegas.
“We are excited to continue partnering with the ATBA, which brings incredible knowledge of the LPTV and translator industries as well as robust advocacy for the issues that matter most to those communities,” says Rick Kaplan, NAB Executive Vice President. “LPTVs and translators are critical pieces to the broadcast industry as a whole and deserve to be highlighted and championed at this critical time.”
