LPTVRecently announced deals for LPTV stations in Dallas-Ft. Worth, Miami-Ft. Lauderdale and Tampa-St. Petersburg aren’t enough for New York Broadband LLC. According to brokerage firm Kalil and Co., the company is picking up another one in Athens GA.

The station is WAGC-LP, which uses Channel 50 to serve the citizens of Athens.

The seller is DTV Innovators LLC.

The buyer, in addition to its recent acquisitions, has holdings in the New York City area and in Richmond VA.

Under licensee name New York Spectrum Holding Company, it recently filed to acquire KVFW-LD Fort Worth TX for $1.05M. The seller was Gerald Benavides.

Shortly thereafter, using the same name, it filed to acquire 33 WTXI-LD Miami and Channel 45 WTBT-LD Tampa from Budd Broadcasting Company. The price of that deal was $1.83M.
Terms of the Athens GA deal were not released.
