We’ve detailed Ludwig’s plan two years ago, but a recent licensing announcement has been struck: Ludwig Enterprises has entered into a licensing agreement with Servicio Digital SA for use of Servicio’s Target Marketing Broadcast patented technology. Also Ludwig’s inital plan was to use FM spectrum. Now it is TV spectrum, as you’ll read.
Target Marketing Broadcasting (TMB) in conjunction with Ludwig’s digital radio broadcasting is one of the newest concepts in “Consumer Specific Broadcasting.” Ludwig’s new HD receiver trademarked “TheOne” uses digital broadcasting as its core technology for broadcasting up to 50 new digital radio channels in each of Ludwig’s geographical market areas. This will be done over multicast spectrum of existing digital TV stations and LPTV stations.
Any advertiser, local or national, can broadcast its message to a targeted ethnic or senior citizen group in their native language. Utilizing TMB Ludwig can within 96 hours of broadcasting an ad notify the advertiser the exact number of listeners of the advertisement plus provide a specific custom demos overview of income, family size, education and more in each of Ludwig’s markets.
