Clear Channel Media & Entertainment is promoting a music talent contest on more than 270 radio stations and associated websites. Macy’s has been signed as the name sponsor of the venture.
“Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star” campaign will spotlight up-and-coming music talent around the nation. One winner will get to perform at the 2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival, set for September in Las Vegas.
Contestants will be featured on “Rising Star,” a new iHeartRadio streaming station and be promoted on in-store TV screens at Macy’s locations. Fans will vote online for their favorite.
