Major Garrett Ordered Up For ‘Takeout’ At Forecast

NEW YORK — Forecast is pleased to announce that CBS White House correspondent Major Garrett will host a live taping of “The Takeout” with a special guest, political satirist Will Durst, during the Forecast luncheon tomorrow (11/14).


Forecast, the radio industry’s annual financial and forecast summit will be presented at the Harvard Club in New York tomorrow, November 14. This edition of “The Takeout” will air on 40+ radio stations this weekend, along with a simulcast on CBSN, the CBS Streaming News Channel, and via his podcast.

Durst, has been described as “the thinking man’s comic.” As current as the day’s headlines, Durst is a self-described “Raging Moderate,” specializing in “comedy for people who read or know someone who does.” Durst writes a weekly nationally syndicated humor column, voices commentaries on many radio stations, is a bi-monthly columnist for The Progressive Magazine, yet still finds time to perform hundreds of comedy shows a year in theaters, clubs, banquet rooms and moldy basements around the world.

His one-man show Durst Case Scenario: Midterm Madness is currently on a limited-engagement run through Sunday (11/18) at The Playroom Theater in Midtown Manhattan.
