The tenth annual Make-A-Wish Radiothon and raised $25,398 and 143,771 frequent flier miles that will help grant wishes to children living with life-threatening medical conditions in Central Oregon. The Make-A-Wish Radiothon aired on Horizon Broadcasting’s 105.7 KQAK-FM, THE PEAK 104.1 and LITE 95.1 and has raised has raised over $240,000 and over 2 million air miles during the past decade.
The radiothon featured personalities Dave Clemens, Jeffrey Brian Nelson, Robin Fox Debby Bever and John Tesh. The Radiothon originated from the Bend River Promenade in Bend on 2/24 and 2/25.
“We are so thankful to everyone in Central Oregon for their generosity during our 10th annual Radiothon,” said Andrew Asato, Executive Director of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon. “We’ve delivered 83 wishes the past ten years in Central Oregon, and another handful of children living with life-threatening illnesses will experience the power of a Wish in the coming year, thanks to everyone who contributed their dollars and air miles.”
