After a long absence, post-Q-101, Talk Radio Network – FMs’ Erich “Mancow” Muller returns to the Chicago airwaves on legendary WLS and reveals six additional stations being added to the show’s growing affiliate list.   The latest new additions to Mancow’s nationally syndicated show include: WTNT, Washington, D.C.; WUUS, Chattanooga, TN; WPBQ, Jackson, MS; WGTN, Myrtle Beach, SC; KCCT, Corpus Christi, TX and KBRA, Freer, MS.
Mancow will air on WLS in the 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. slot separate from his TRN-FM syndicated show.  “This will bring lots of energy to the station,” says WLS-AM president and general manager, Mike Fowler.  “It’s a younger version of Rush, with some Roe Conn thrown in.”

WLS’ Program Director, Kipper Mcgee says, “Smart people know: the future is here.  It’s just not evenly distributed.  Mancow represents the future of Talk Radio, and we couldn’t be more excited than to have him join our weekday lineup!"

Mark Masters, CEO of TRN-FM said, “As was the case of Jerry Seinfeld, who certain NBC executives stuck with for 18 long months until he broke out (going on to become the biggest TV show on NBC),  Mancow has evolved to such a point that I believe he will be the ‘Seinfeld’ equivalent on radio, his time is now, coinciding with his own personal evolution from being the ‘Mancow’ of 19 years ago, to Erich ‘Mancow’ Muller of today – is a night and day difference.”  To illustrate the point, ABC/Citadel’s legendary PD, Jack Swanson (KGO/KSFO San Francisco), has called Mancow the “next Rush Limbaugh”.
