In honor of the 30th anniversary of the NAB Marconi Radio Awards, this year’s celebration will feature previous award winners — all nationally-syndicated radio personalities — as the co-emcees and presenters at the 2019 event.

Sharing the mic across the event, scheduled for Sept. 26 at the Radio Show in Dallas, are Delilah, Rickey Smiley, and Bob and Tom Show hosts Tom Griswold and Kristi Lee.

Delilah is the most-listened-to-woman on radio in the U.S. and was inducted into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 2017. She received the NAB Marconi Radio Award for Network/Syndicated Personality of the Year in 2016.

Smiley received the NAB Marconi Radio Award for Network/Syndicated Personality of the Year in 2017. He will succeed Tom Joyner following his retirement from “The Tom Joyner Morning Show” with the debut of a new, urban adult contemporary morning show beginning January 2020.

Westwood One’s long-running Bob & Tom Show is heard on more than 100 radio affiliates nationwide and is based at WFBQ-FM in Indianapolis. Griswold formed the morning show along with former co-host Bob Kevoian in 1983. Kristi Lee joined the show as news director a year later, in 1984.

Established in 1989 and named after inventor and Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi, the NAB Marconi Radio Awards are given to radio stations and outstanding on-air personalities to recognize excellence in radio.
