CBS Radio’s Mix 94.1 (KMXB-FM) is having a party for Mark & Mercedes In The Morning’s 15 year anniversary in Las Vegas. The celebration starts at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, 3/23 at Rock’s Lounge inside Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa.
There will be live music throughout the party before Zowie Bowie takes the stage at 11:00pm. All listeners attending the party will be in the running for giveaways including a one year lease on 2012 Chevrolet Camaro courtesy of Findlay Chevrolet, $500 cash giveaways courtesy of Weight Watchers, and flyaway’s to see Mix artists; Train, Florence + the Machine, and The Fray. Admission is free and the first 400 people through the door will receive a free drink.
To honor the morning show & kick off the countdown to the party, Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman and former Mayor Oscar Goodman stopped by the studio to award Mark & Mercedes with a “Key to the City”.
Says Goodman: “15 years! Nothing lasts that long, except the two of you. We are so proud, and brought you a key to the city. As far as I’m concerned, I can’t think of anybody who makes a better contribution to our community than the two of you. You’re out and about all the time at charitable events, and you make people happy! What’s better than that?”
