Marketron, Donovan collaborate for direct e-orders

Donovan Data Systems (DDS) and Marketron Broadcast Solutions have collaborated to offer completely electronic transactions between spot buyers and radio stations.

Direct orders are sent from DDS’ Spot Desktop spot buying app using the RAB XML schema. The orders seamlessly enter the radio station business system using the Marketron Exchange platform. Because there is no manual re-keying, the initial order is error-free and its receipt is confirmed, saving time and labor.

Marketron Exchange is an e-commerce platform that allows radio stations using Marketron Traffic, Visual Traffic, or DeltaFlex business systems to communicate electronically with media buyers. It enables orders, invoices, and proof-of-performance data to flow electronically–eliminating the need for manual processes, reducing discrepancies, increasing radio’s accountability by delivering accurate proof-of-performance to buyers, and bringing more revenue to radio by making it easier to buy.

DDS is the leading systems and software provider to the ad industry. DDS offers a range of business solutions that brings operating efficiencies to clients working in media agencies and marketing services companies.

Nearly 6,500 radio stations in the U.S. use Marketron business operating systems. These radio stations can sign up for Marketron Exchange to take advantage of the eBusiness opportunities with DDS agencies by emailing [email protected] or visiting www.marketron.com/exchange.
