Enterprise revenue management and digital software provider Marketron has shuffled its executive team by naming a new CEO and selecting a new SVP of Product.

Now in the top leadership role is the individual who served as an operating partner for Diversis Capital, the private equity firm which acquired Marketron in 2018.

That’s Jim Howard, whose resume includes a role as the founder and CEO of the first cloud provider of Web Content Management, CrownPeak Technology. He has also been a Partner at USWeb/CKS and is a founding member of one of the first digital agencies, W3-design.

Howard said, “Radio is at a pivotal moment in its transition to incorporate digital into the advertising mix.  I believe very firmly that Marketron will play a central role in transforming our industry.”

Concurrently, Jimshade Chaudhari has been chosen as Senior Vice President, Product. He formally took on the role in late April. He previously was VP and Head of Product and Partnerships at DISH Network’s Sling TV operation. Before joining DISH in February 2011 for a role as Director of Product Marketing and Management, he spent nearly six years as a wireless data services GM at Sprint’s headquarters in Kansas City.

Howard added, “Marketron is already the key software partner for 65% of the industry and through our investment in digital innovation, we’re strategically positioned to enable a return to rapid growth and improved profitability for our customers. Adding Jimshade is key to that evolution and strategy and I’m thrilled to welcome him.”
