Keeping the heat on the children's theme this summer, the Subcommittee on Telecommunications and the Internet, chaired by Ed Markey (D-MA), will be looking at "Images Kids See on the Screen" Friday, 7/22/07 at 10AM. It's going to explore "the effects images on television and the movies have on young children, specifically related to the issues of obesity, violence and smoking, and existing laws or regulations."
