Optimism about a solution to the Greek debt crisis put traders in a stock buying mood following the three-day weekend. The Dow Jones Industrial average rose 128 points, or 1%, to 12,570. Broadcasting stocks also had a good day.
The RBR Radio Index was up 8.952, or 2.4%, to 376.637.
The TVBR Television Index was up 3.613, or 1.4%, to 267.886.
