You may not associate Country Music with Greater Media, but its one Country station is a big one – WKLB-FM Boston. The Broadcasters Foundation announced that Country star Martina McBride will perform at the Golden Mike benefit gala February 23rd in New York honoring Greater Media CEO Peter Smyth and the Bordes family. Melba Moore will also perform and humorist Mike Barnicle will be master of ceremonies. As if that’s not enough star power, guest presenters include Jeff Haley of RAB, Heidi Raphael of Greater Media, Jeff Smulyan of Emmis, lawyer Tom O’Neill III, son of the late Speaker Tip O’Neill, and Smyth’s son Colin.
