McGavren Guild, the newly reformed rep firm from the ashes of Interep, has extended its rep agreement with Spanish Broadcasting System and legendary radio station WBEB-FM, “B101,” Philadelphia. The firm also reached agreement with Davidson Media Group, Golden Door Broadcasting, and several other Hispanic broadcasters, with discussions with several more general market broadcasters in the works. More deals will be announced this week.

Barry Fischer, EVP/GM and GM-SBS commented, "Our commitment to Hispanic media at McGavren Guild is as strong as ever.  We are thrilled to continue our partnership with SBS and our other Hispanic colleagues.  They operate fantastic radio stations, reach deeply into their communities, and embody the spirit that sets Hispanic radio apart as the first-choice medium to reach this hugely important population.  We will tell their story until Hispanic-targeted radio reaches parity from an ad expenditure standpoint with other formats.  The expanding size and consumer power of the U.S. Hispanic population is too important to be overlooked, and we are privileged to have such great partners in this field.”

Said Lisa Sonnenklar, President/CEO: "We are thrilled to announce our agreement with B101.  We had a tremendous partnership with the station at our former firm, and we appreciate that they are giving us to opportunity to demonstrate that the new McGavren Guild can deliver the results they need and expect.  We will not let them down.”
