More good news from McGavren Guild Media as Delmarva Broadcasting, previously repped by Katz for many years, has signed on.

McGavren Guild will rep Delmarva’s stations which serve all of Delaware, eastern Maryland, and southern New Jersey.

The rep firm, having recently celebrated its first anniversary under independent ownership, continues to augment its rep roster, notching this, its second representation announcement, in as many weeks.

Delmarva’s stations, WSTW-FM, WDEL-AM, WXCY-FM, WAFL-FM, WNCL-FM, WYUS-AM, WKTT-FM/WZKT-FM, WICO-FM, WQJZ-FM, and WICO-AM are committed to providing service and entertainment to listeners and local communities, from their hub in Wilmington, Delaware, all the way to the shores of eastern Maryland.

Delmarva President Pete Booker commented, “We are very excited to start a new partnership with a committed, entrepreneurial organization that has a real passion for this business. McGavren is an organization that will work hard to represent our stations without the burden of having to allocate dollars across multiple companies in our markets. We look forward to great things.”

Lisa Sonnenklar, McGavren Guild President / CEO noted, “The cultures of McGavren Guild Media and Delmarva Broadcasting Company are very closely aligned, stemming from the fact that both are independently owned. We know that our new relationship will prove mutually beneficial and we look forward to many years of growth together. Pete Booker and his team have proven that local radio works, both for listeners and advertisers, and we are eager to take that story to market.”
